Hermansons in the Q

Diving off the couch onto the tile floor is not encouraged, but still can be done.  We have proof.  Luckily, no cast needed.  He’s been great about it, though, and he really liked getting his picture taken from the huuuuuuge camera lol

Pretty clear crack. Click to enlarge

He's not much of a complainer, and likes his sling....for now....

Whirlfloc

How whirlfloc (carrageenan) can make fermentation appear. The cold and hot break have coagulated into ‘bits’, so when the yeasties are doing their magic, the bits fly around.

YouTube Preview Image

Whirlfloc is a purifed form of high molecular weight carrageenan extracted from red marine algae (Rhodophycae) and manufactured exclusively for use as a wort fining agent. It accelerates the formation of dense and compact hot and cold trub, saving time, boosting wort recovery and resulting in considerably brighter worts. source: Brewing Solutions
